Thinkin.....

Just kinda blah. Guess there was more stress on me then I thought. Suppose I should have known. But I've been so focused on looking for work, I didn't put any thought into the stress levels. Now that Obama has signed the extension of UI and I have a moment to breath, the weight being gone is kind of a surprise.

Got my first interview today. Went well, but..... May be a schedule problem because of school. Would be nice though, because it's $16/hr.

No Sleep

So. Midnight and I'm still awake and though I'm quite tired. I don't see sleep coming any time soon.

Listening to The Atheist Experience show 665. Looking forward to the next one. Supposedly Matt has some Tom foolery planned.

Wish I knew how to go back in tome and do this right the first time. That being the shopping trip that has caused this fight.

Up and Running

Okay, so the new App works. YAY!!!

In other news, seems the wife hates me right now. Hot Day + my Frustration levels + complaints about me not buying the right things at the store = fight and she won't talk to me now. Actually went to sleep mad, something she never does. I surely have some responsibility in it, but she wouldn't talk to me at all. So now, I'm not going to sleep tonight...... I just wish I could find a damn job.

So. Got a new app, and this one seems to actually work. Guess I'll know for sure when I load it.

Logical Inconsistancies

So. Here's the thing. The whole Adam and Eve thing. It just doesn't make sense.

Lets see. You have this god, that according to every Christian I've talked to is supposed to be All-knowing and All-powerful. This god creates thinking beings that have no concept of right and wrong, nor death, etc... This god then creates a tree that these creatures are instructed not to partake of because if they do, they will die. Yet these are again creatures/beings with no concept of death, nor again, right and wrong. So until they eat of this tree, the tree of knowledge of right and wrong, they are by definition of the story not going to know that what they have done is wrong.

So, god is supposedly All-knowing. Based on this story, he is deliberately setting these creatures up for a fall since he knew they would partake of the tree. He then is going to punish them, as well as all of their descendants for something he knew they would do, and knew they wouldn't know was wrong until after the fact. This makes this god Immoral.

Or, this god is not all-knowing, and possibly incompetent as it couldn't see this coming.

So really. Which is it, under the assumption that the Christian god exists. Is it incompetent, or an immoral prick?

I AM NOT EVIL!!!

Damn it. I am not Evil. Really I am not. I'm a nice person. Sure, I believe in contingencies and not charging blindly into things. That doesn't make me evil, just prepared. And apparently a perfect candidate as a super-villain template.

Gah. Insomnia, how I could do without thee...

And people wonder why this ass-hat is considered insane by the rest of the world. I mean really, is this for real?

I wasn't able to verify it, and it is from Failblog.org, but still. What other things I was able to find would be funny if they were not so frightening. Kids in North Korea being taught that Americans have snouts like a Jackle?

Sure, North Korea is often touted by theists as being an Atheist state. But haven't any of you ever heard of a cult of personality? Only religious like blind belief and fear can account for this stuff.

Still Going

So...

The job search is going, just not seeming to get anywhere. Still have to follow up with a few places, though I'm not seeing much new postings in the IT field right now. Seems with the Republican's killing unemployment extensions, the market is drying up. Not good for people like me that don't have the experience and need to get it. Looks like I'm going to end up back in Customer Service until I finish my degree and a few certs. CCNA, A+, net+, etc...

Looking into starting a biz with a few guys at school, though it seems a bit daunting biz license, tax ID's, etc... Going to have to talk to them seriously about it and see if they are really interested. If not, it may take time to get that up and running. Not until I'm working elsewhere and got things caught up and we're not sweating the bills.

Then again, It might be better not to involve them since we are thinking about moving, I can take the biz with me that way. Or sell it to one of them and start anew. Oh well, things for the future. Right now. Must get Job.

Frustration

Still trying to get a working Iphone app so I can do this without being at the computer. Can't afford the pay ones yet, and the 'free' one just doesn't seem to like me. Don't know, kinda frustrating. I'll get it working eventually.

In other news, seems the friend I helped out (fixed his XP install and gave him Ubuntu as a backup) is happy with it. But now he's having other issues.

Guess I'm going to use this as a drain droppings diary as anything. Well, it's not as if I have readers right now.

Getting Started
